Saturday, 27 March 1742   (Northampton Mercury)

John Hammond guilty of murder.

The report in the paper is of the suicide of John Fisher: his dead body discovered in his cell in the morning of the day they came to take him out for execution.  No mention of Fisher but it is unlikely he would have been executed on a different day.
